2003 7th gen honda civic. Just installed today after the grounding bolt on my oem alternator sheared off while changing timing belt and accessory belts. Basically oem fit, although I had to hammer the top bolt sleeve as it was sitting a mm too high. The ground bolt is a better design to the oem bolt. I think the oem bolt was sheared off prior to the belts change as starting the car was hit or miss, now it starts up right away. Will update if anything changes or fails. Does come with a 1 yr warranty which was a deciding factor when choosing this alternator along with the great price.

This alternator was the perfect replacemant for the bad (shorted diode) OEM alternator in my 2011 CRV, with 170K on the clock. Came with certified test sheet – with performance curves and graphs. Also, higher AMPs than my OEM alternator. Win-Win, and a surprisingly great price.

Wouldn’t recommend. I installed this alternator in my 2011 Silverado and yes it works but it makes a loud whining noise. Waste of time… don’t buy this.
