I wasn’t sure if my cabin filters had ever been replaced and I was starting to get a slight musty smell when I started the car with the AC in the on position. The BMW branded filters are a bit pricey and pretty much the same as these, so I went with this option.These filters seem just fine. They took about 5 minutes to install and the musty smell seems gone for the most part. I don’t think it’s necessary to get OEM cabin filters (or those made by the OEM supplier, like I do for air and oil filters).These filters do the job at a great price point, so you can’t really go wrong.
