AEM’s TRU-BOOST Gauge-Type Controller is an electronic boost controller that combines the simplicity of a manual boost controller with the added ease of adjusting boost levels through a gauge interface. There is no external interface required for set up, and it is fully functional right out of the box.

AEM’s TRU-BOOST Gauge-Type Controller includes everything you need, including an on-board 29 psig pressure sensor, built-in Overboost protection with two timed shutdown levels, a scramble boost setting and a low-side output for a warning light.

AEM offers a 75 psia boost sensor for high boost applications (sold separately). AEM’s boost control solenoid (included) is the only one specifically manufactured for automotive boost applications, which means it won’t corrode and stick from exposure to rich fuel mixtures, it is pressure tested to 100 psi and includes -4 AN fittings to eliminate any chance of leaks.

Installation Notes

Double-check all vacuum routing—incorrect routing = dangerous boost spikes

I love my boost controller. This one measures up to 30lbs of boost and actually controls an included boost solenoid. The gauge works great and all thr programming for the controller happens on 2 buttons. Using the 2 buttons to scroll through all the options and to change the settings takes some getting use to but one it is setup everything works well and is easy to maintain and change.

Great EBC. I switched form a manual boost controller because it was inconsistent. When there were large ambient temperature changes the manual controller would under or over boost. I had to constantly adjust it. With the Tru-Boost it’s consistent regardless of outside temps. And you can have 2 differnt set ups. I use for for my daily drive and another for autocross events. The scramble option looks cool but I am not using it. The install was very easy. Hardest part was getting through the firewall. For the money this is a very good product.

Easy to use and works just as described. Installed on a 1990 300zx TT and boosting beautifully at 16psi with this. There are also plenty of videos on youtube on how to properly use the controller.

I put this on a Volvo S70 that I’d upgraded the turbo from a 13g to a 16t. Before I got the Tru-Boost I was only seeing 5 PSI of boost, I don’t think the OEM Boost Control Soleniod and ECU even kick in, it’s all just the waste gate. With the Tru-Boost I have a conservative setting that boosts about 9 psi at 40% throttle and a sportier setting that boosts 12 psi, the same as an S70 R. This item really works if you want to get the most out of your turbo, you definately need to watch the videos AEM has on their website to explain how to set up the device, the written instructions are not clear on what the spring and duty cycle settings do.

What can you say. Its AEM one of the great products out there.I give three stars because of cost and the fact that when I started to open it. I noticed that the seal was tampered with. So I opened the product (still have not used yet). The part of the cardboard that holds the gauge is damaged. Not happy about that at all.

I purchased AEM 30-4350 Tru-Boost Controller Gauge (Automotive) due to wanting to be able to have multiple boost settings that can be changed at the push of a button. I was able to install this into my Turbo 1999 Acura Integra GSR by following the instructions and was able to change all the settings without issues. It does take quite a few tries to get the boost exactly where you want but that was the fun part of it haha.I was able to set two different boost levels one for high boost and one for low boost and with a push of the button switched between both and never had any issues with it. You are even able to change the boost settings while driving and works instantly. This is more accurate than my other boost gauge when showing how much boost you are hitting while doing a pull but of course just like all other boost gauges they are all off some.Would recommend this to anyone with a turbo that is wanting to control boost and set different boost levels.
