I bought these for my personal car, a 2006 Nissan Maxima SL, engine code VQ35DE. The spark plug tube seals on the original valve covers were toast, and they’re non-servicable, so this listing was perfect! The parts arrived quickly, and everything fit as it should. After several weeks, and lots of miles, no leaks or issues present. I couldn’t be happier with this product, and the price is fantastic.**I’m an automotive technician, so it was a relatively easy job for me. If you’re a novice, you’ll probably want to dedicate half a day to the job. That’s also a great opportunity to replace the spark plugs, since you’re gonna be right on top of them. If it’s a high mileage car, I would advise you to go ahead and replace any pcv/breather tubes under the intake manifold, because heat and time make them very brittle.

Cheap enough for the pair (front & rear) that it’s hardly worth dealing with drilling out and installing new plug tube seals, given the OEM covers are ‘non-serviceable’. $60 for the pair and comes with new gaskets, no brainer. The only issue was one mounting hole still had the plastic from the mold process. 10mm socket head was sufficient to ‘punch’ out the plastic disk.Replaced the original covers since they were leaking around the gaskets and also #3/#5 spark plug tube seals were leaking badly to the point that #5 started misfiring. New spark plugs installed and replaced all 6 coil packs just for good measure. Car purrs now at idle.

Gasket on spark plug tubes failed at 9 months causing oil leaking onto the alternator. Alternator shorted out

As I opened the box I heard something rattling in it. Part was broken upon arrival. You can see indents on the box, where the part hit the box.

Product looks very substantial and complete. Tube seals are pliable, as they should be, PCV valve is in place as are the valve gaskets. Seems like an excellent product. I hope it works as good as it looks.
