Rockville VS12K54 12″ K5 1400w Car Subwoofer in Vented Sub Enclosure Box – 4 Ohm
\

Performance for the People
The VS12K54 makes upgrading your car audio system stupidly simple — just hook it up and let the bass roll. The 4 Ohm load means you get a solid hit without overloading your amp, and its vented design ensures you get every note of that low-end rumble.
Rockville’s K5 driver uses a high-temperature voice coil and thick cone material for improved durability under stress. Translation: it gets loud and stays that way.

Why Upgrade to the VS12K54?
Because factory sound systems are fine for people who think a “bass boost” button is a subwoofer. You’re not that person. You want to feel your music, not just hear it. And that’s exactly what this Rockville box delivers — no nonsense, no fragile cone failures, just hard-hitting sound that turns every drive into a mini concert.

I bought thus enclosure because it had the specs I wanted for my 12 alpine s2. It would fit the sub without the trim ring. I had to extensively modify the front to get the trim and grill on. It sounds good but not great this way. Not too much better than the sub it came with, just louder. I’m gonna switch to a sealed box as i miss the clean bass. This box had a delay like it had to load up for fast bass with the alpine. I didn’t like it. This is a good sub and box. Just might not want to swap the sub out IMHO.

It might have been me but I thought I ordered a different one out of the 3 styles you can order, there was one that didn’t show ohm one that said 2 ohm and a 4 ohm, there wasn’t much a price difference but I always go for 2ohm and I got the lower one. It’s a lot of trouble to return items where I live because you have to go to next county. For the price it does decent but a 2ohm there is a difference. If your looking for loud system with thump this is it. The 2ohm would give you more bass. The three stars is for sending the 0ohm

1. Buy this combo kit (if available used for $71-75, then even better – get that2. Remove the K5 Subwoofer – put it in storage, sell it locally on Facebook for $40-503. Buy a Rockville K6 V2 sub (89.899) and install into this enclosure -Nothing against the K5 but the K6 is an amazing sub for $90 and in this enclosure it sounds amazing. Tight, punchy, musical. Period

It worked for about 10 minutes. Amazon did a great job and return my purchase price. The speaker. looked like it was decent quality. It was heavy, but only lasted a very short time before it started popping.
