So for context I am using this on a 2013 JKU Rubicon 10th anniversary on 35’s with 4:88 gears air intake and throttle body spacer. I owned a jeep off road and rockcrawler shop for years in a different time in my life so I have been around this industry working on nothing but jeeps for some 35 years. The programer is very easy to use and updates were a breeze via laptop. Being able to change both lighing options and more so speedo calibration with larger tires and the flexability of tire choices was key. The settings showed a noticable improvement when moving though the fuel setting and the throttle response in the 91 octane settings showed more snap to the pedal in real time. Menu’s were easy to follow and load times were relatively quick but the gains immidiate. Clearing the syste also was easy in the event you need to sell the vehicle and had no check engine lights or diagnostic issues at all on either install or removal. SUperchips is a a proven on point company and with the many items out there I feel this product has the best gains for the money spent.

i got a new set of 37’s to replace the old. gas mileage went down and shifting felt very late. (assuming new tires are much heavier than old) Took a shot on the super chips flashcal. Updated tire size with this unit. avg gas mileage increased from 12.2 mpg to 16.2mpg on my first commute to work after updating. Shifting now feels very smooth and on time. id say this device pays for its self in gas savings alone. Not to mention turning off that pesky TPMS light! well worth the 200$ price tag. Just dont confuse the flashcal with flashpaq as the flashcal can’t tune, it can only calibrate a few options.

I purchased this after upgrading to 35” tires on my 2016 JKU. I noticed a HUGE difference in my drivetrain after rolling off out of the shop with 35” tires. It was slow to respond, felt a loss of power and I could tell that it wasn’t shifting where it was suppose to.I plugged this in, and literally in minutes had my new settings loaded and ready to go. Now, I purchased this solely for changing my tire size so I haven’t used any of the other options. (Gear ratios are the next mod which this will also take care of).I have gotten much of my lost power back, the gearbox shifts closer to the correct points, and my speedometer is worlds closer to accurate speed! Feel a lot more like factory!I’ve never interfaced with my vehicle like this but it was super easy to use. I read the manual and watched a vid on YouTube. There’s a load of other options that I haven’t had time to look at yet but it’s also a great feeling to know I can read and then clear any codes my Jeep throws at me and possibly fix myself. Very highly recommend!

The first unit I received had errors. Returned it to Amazon. Replacement arrived within a couple of day of starting the process. Replacement works as advertised. Set tire size. Set TPMS to 25. Not sure what the lowest or highest settings are, but it’ll go at least as low as 20, and TPMS can be turned off completely. I haven’t experimented with data logging (which it does while driving). It’s somewhat expensive for what it does, but getting a dealer to change the settings isn’t cheap either, if they’ll do it, and this can be used as often as desired for the original cost. It can also be updated and upgraded online.Diagnosing and replacing missing files on a faulty unit could be done online, and the update app should be capable of doing that without requiring that a technician from Superchips have online access through a person’s PC. I didn’t take off a star for that, but Superchips really needs to up their game. Since I wasn’t able to have myself, the tuner, and a PC all in the same place and make a phone call during their business hours, I just returned the unit.

I bought this to adjust the speedometer on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler that I put 5:13 gears and 35″ tires on. Programmed in the parameters and the took the Jeep out for a test drive, way off. Adjusted tire size up and down and couldn’t get the programmer to make the speedometer read within 10mph of actual speed. Called tech support and was greatest by Niel or as I now call him No help Niel. Described my situation and asked for some suggestions on how to proceed, Niel told me I needed the tunner and a computer so he could log into the device. I told him I don’t have a computer to log into with and asked if there was anything we could try without a PC. No. That’s the only answer he could give. I explained I go to work before the call center opens and am working well after they close and wanted just some pointers for when I get off. No. The guy had zero desire to help. I asked what it is I could do when I get home, plug into a computer and try… No. So you either have to schedule your day to be at a computer and wait on hold for tech support or get NO help. Thanks No help Niel. I was going to upgrade this unit but now I’ma box it up and get a tuner from another company that works through my cell phone.

I upgraded to the flash cal and installed the 93 octane tube in my 2017 Jeep wrangler JK! I already had a Flowmaster axle back exhaust. My Jeep has never ran so good! The tune is fantastic!

Not worth it
I have a jk with 35s and 3.21 gears so if anyone needed this thing to work the most it was me. I have heard great things about this product but it didn’t do anything for me in terms of fuel economy. The only difference I felt was shift points which is good but not worth the money in my opinion.
