I picked up this tuner for my Hemi Dodge Charger 2014. Works great plug and play after dowloading compatable software. Over all pleased car runs better starts right up. Before the tune the car was hard starting. Had a code for #7 MDS. Disabled cylinder shutdown erased codes set at 91 tune. I will use it to update custom tunes as I modify, also was able to change my correct tire size. This is the platinum version.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Worst cheapest thing to ever buy not worth 400 bucks at all does not work with any vehicle updates take forever highly recommend never getting this device Chinese knock off didn’t come with instructions either highly recommend not getting this for your vehicle not worth your time or money

Helped me get rid of the mds system , took off my speed limiter and since I live in Florida I was able to take advantage of the 93 octane on my 5.7 hemi charger , Runs better and is helping the transmission shift better . If there is a lag issue with the device just turn off your car and disconnect it . Noticed the gains in power . Throttle response and exhaust tone

This is my second i3. The first is married to my ’05 and now a 2nd has been bought for the new-to-us ’13 300s. The paperwork that comes with it needs updating, and the menu screens aren’t very intuitive which is why 1 star came off. Tech support is terrific, and answered my many questions. My use is need of a tool to turn mds off, view and clear codes, log data (very handy feature), and not for the horse power gains it can provide. The tuner can update itself so long as there’s a good wifi signal at your car. The Update software that would load into your PC requires windows 8 or better, which is why a second star came off. Also, their DataViewer software requires the same… but that’s a download from their web site and not included with the tuner. In any event, it’s expensive for what it is but has proven cost effective for what it does. Hundreds of dollars got paid out trying to fix mds without success. Bought this tool, and turned it off…

There are plenty of reviews and videos discussing these tuners. This review instead is about my customer service experience. After a few attempts at installing a tune the unit would not create the back up and load selected tune on my 2013 Challenger SRT8. I called the support line at Holley at around 2:00 pm Pacific on a Wednesday. I was auto placed on hold and notified there were 24 callers ahead of me. Yikes! No problem I’ll just wait as I am stuck until there is a solution. The system updated me as to how many callers were still left ahead of me but it only took a few minutes before someone answered. They had to transfer me to the Tune division as they don’t provide a direct line at this time. A support person answered right away and I told him the situation. He asked a few questions and said that some of the 2013 and 2014 Challengers have a problem loading and my ECM would need to be sent in to their facility in Florida for modification. He said they would modify the same day and return at no charge. Nice! So I pulled the ECM boxed it up and took it to USPS that same day (Wednesday). I sent it Priority Mail 2 day air (I’m in the Seattle area).They received it on Friday, repaired it and sent it back that afternoon via UPS next day air. I received the ECM on Saturday around noon and reinstalled it. The Diablo Tune installed as expected and all is good. Other than my shipping expense Holly / Diablosport took care of the rest. To me this is impressive customer service and is sadly becoming rare in my experience. Kudos to Holley and Diablosport for this great service.

Great tool! Unfortunately, it only includes a quick guide in lieu of an extensive user’s manual. Point being, the tuner has a plethora of settings and parameters…but the guide is inadequate to explain them. A vehicle that literally holds my life in balance is not where I want to experience with settings I don’t fully understand.I could not locate any complete user’s manual online, nor was I able to get support.Despite the poorly authored setup guide, I was able to choose a pre-programmed tune–the Diablo tune–and make adjustments to throttle response, shift firmness, and fan temps. I tried several other pre-programmed tunes but the Diablo tune seems to be the most sporty/aggressive tune and surprisingly seems more fuel efficient than the 87-octane MPG tune.Keep in mind, the Diablo tune is a 93-octane tune. And, despite the more expensive gas, I went from spending an average of $50 a week to about $40 a week. In other words, the tuner will pay for itself in about 10 months. The Diablo i3 intune tuner really wakes up my 5.7 Hemi engine, I can feel the power and the exhaust note was improved substantially.Overall, I’m very satisfied with the tuner; I just don’t understand why it’s lacking a complete user’s manual.

Super easy to use, make sure you update it through your computer first, think it had like 5 or 6 critical updates. Used the 93 octane tune since I really don’t drive the truck much. I will say this, besides feeling more power through out the rpm range, transmission temps are cooler by 20-25 degrees. Makes sense since shifts are firmer, but not ridiculous by any measure. A cooler running transmission is worth the price of admission in my opinion.

Good tuner great fonctions
Got recommended this tuner from a friend of mine. I was skeptical at first but went with it.The tuning was fairly simple but the updating was kind of a pain in the butt. Used a computer and went smoothly afterall.Definitely gave a second breath of power on my 5.7 Hemi with the CAI 91 octane tune.The tuner can be use to enable and disable lots of fonction on the car and even push custom tunes.Definitely recommend if you are looking for quick HP and fun.
