Took about an hour to install; they originally sent the wrong filter, but I emailed them and they sent out the correct one the next day. This is semi covered so it should be a little bit better with heat than a normal short ram intake, but this will still suck in more hot air than stock or a fully covered intake. This is up to you to decide, but it sounds absolutely awesome!

Don’t trust the instructions. Build it all together before trying to install on the car or you will be taking it back apart a few times. Other than that, works perfectly and sounds great!

Installed on 2025 Honda Accord 1.5 Special Edition. It caused 8 warning lights to come on. Test drove and car started shifting weird and surging. Unable to drive. Removed and reinstalled the factory air intake and all of the problems went away. Not sure what’s going on…..

Inhelped my son install this on his 2024 civic si. The sound is the way all turbo cars should sound..!! I am not crazy about the “engineering” of the kit however. Rather than just design the kit with a properly sized tube for the MAF sensor K&N decided to use the wrong size metal tube, then give you a round hunk of plastic that you have to jam inside the tube to make sure the diameter is correct to get a proper MAF reading. In the case of our kit that piece of plastic fit like crap. I had to use some assembly lube and use a hydraulic press to get the darn thing in place. Its a porr design with even more poor QA sending out parts like that.
