Power Adjust, Manual Fold

Installation Overview

The assemblies are designed to use the factory mounting locations and electrical connections. Interior door-panel removal is usually required to access the connector and mirror fasteners.

Basic Installation

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal if directed by the service manual.
2. Remove the interior sail panel and necessary door trim.
3. Disconnect the original mirror wiring connector.
4. Support the mirror from outside the door.
5. Remove the mounting nuts or bolts.
6. Lift the original assembly away from the truck.
7. Compare the mounting pattern and connector.
8. Install the PM Auto replacement.
9. Tighten the fasteners evenly.
10. Reconnect the electrical plug.
11. Reinstall the door trim.
12. Test horizontal and vertical glass adjustment.

Do not overtighten the fasteners. A mirror should be secure, not used to test the structural limits of molded plastic.
