FORENNER describes these bulbs as having a nearly 1:1 replacement size. The compact construction is intended to fit factory sockets and housings without cutting, splicing, or installing an external driver box.

Fitment still depends on the available clearance behind the housing. Check for interference with:

• Cooling-fan ventilation
• Retaining clips or locking rings
• Nearby engine-bay components

Active Cooling System

The bulb body combines aviation-grade aluminum with a hollow heat-sink structure and an integrated 22,000-RPM cooling fan. This system transfers heat away from the LED chips to help maintain consistent performance.

FORENNER advertises a lifespan of up to 75,000 hours. Actual operating life will vary according to heat, voltage stability, fan condition, installation clearance, moisture exposure, and daily use.

Basic Installation

1. Switch off the lights and allow the original bulbs to cool.
2. Remove the factory H11, H9, or H8 bulb.
3. Insert and lock the FORENNER bulb into the housing.
4. Connect the factory wiring plug.
5. Confirm that the fan has sufficient clearance.
6. Reinstall the dust cover when possible.
7. Test for flickering, warning messages, and correct operation.
8. Inspect the beam pattern against a wall.

CANbus Compatibility

An integrated driver is designed to work with approximately 99% of vehicle computer systems while reducing:

The 99% compatibility figure is a manufacturer estimate, not a guarantee. Certain European, luxury, and late-model vehicles may require an additional CANbus decoder or anti-flicker module.

Check local regulations before using LED bulbs in road-going headlamps. NHTSA states that LED replacement light sources are not currently permitted in replaceable-bulb headlamps originally designed around regulated halogen light sources. Fog-light and off-road rules may differ by location.
