Replace Headlight Bulbs in Pairs

Confirm Vehicle Fitment

The 9003 is a combined high/low-beam bulb, but it does not fit every vehicle with halogen headlights. Compatibility can vary by year, model, trim, production date and factory lighting package.

Confirm the following before ordering:

• Your vehicle specifies a 9003 or HB2 bulb
• The installation position is correct
• The vehicle has a compatible halogen headlight assembly
• The existing bulb uses a P43t base
• The electrical connector matches the replacement bulb

Installation Tips

1. Switch off the headlights and allow the bulbs to cool.
2. Open the hood and locate the rear of the headlight assembly.
3. Remove the dust cover or retaining hardware.
4. Disconnect the three-terminal electrical connector.
5. Release the bulb retainer.
6. Remove the old bulb without damaging the connector or housing.
7. Hold the new bulb only by its metal base.
8. Align the locating tabs and secure the bulb.
9. Reconnect the wiring and reinstall the weather cover.
10. Test both high- and low-beam operation.

Never touch the glass capsule with bare fingers. Skin oil can create a hot spot and shorten bulb life. If the glass is touched, clean it with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth before installation.
