When dynamic scan started up at first it went from the middle to the outside. Now it only goes from left to right. Not just on dynamic scan but on all flows that are supposed to start from the middle. The other thing is when the background is supposed to be a solid color and a section of LEDs run across it doesn’t have a background solid color.

Good product.It works very well.

It stopped working within a month. It was very cool when it worked, but it’s not worth it due to the longevity. I got someone to install it for me because it was pretty complicated for me (I’m not good with cars at all), and I loved them but again…didn’t last long at all.

It would have been nice if the tester worked but it did not. I had to manually find the constant and see if the power and blinker leads work. The adhesive is nice and strong and look is great. I do like the option of cutting at the marks and then you can easily adjust the center so that the LEDs can align properly. My issue was that I could not find good power source to tap into on my fuse box. Every fuse I tried kept the LED on until I tapped my blinker and used that power source. So that when I turn on at least my parking lights, the led strip will turn on, but the blinker will work even when off. I prefer it this way. Another good thing is that the unit has a dimmer feature built in so that if you can dim it to you preference. I do like you can shorten the blinker setting so that not the entire half of the hood is blinking, rather just the section you want. I measured it to about the lenght of my headlights. No resistor needed here either. No hyper flashing. Pretty simple install on my 2003 F150. Yellow is the drivers side and blue is the passenger side.To install properly, check to see if you need to cut it. I have a 70 inch and I could have cut about an inch or Two to install but I kept it entirely and tucked it under the fender sides of the hood. I did have to put electrical tape to mask the red 3m tape on top so that you do not see it peeking out from the hood. As for the wiring, the only issue is the blue wire lead from the passenger side. It is long enough lead but there is no way to tuck it anywhere other than the cowel. Just keep that in mind. The kit comes with pretty everything you need, but I would highly suggest wire taps to tap into the power (red) side of things, just because of what I encountered. I then zip tied the control module to the side of the firewall next to the drivers side fender. That way, I can easily acesss the control box and also tuck away any excess yellow and red wiring. The ground was just tapped to the car’s hood and no tapping needed on that one.Once you do peel off the sticker and align your middle, I suggest do a test fit on the ends so that your strip will fit. Also it’s a good idea to close the hood and see where the LED strip lands so that you can plan accordingly if you need to mask the top like I did. I do recommend this one and is like the other one you see. So it is pretty much the same unit. I just wished the tester would have worked. It would have helped to test out the leads.

Very pleased. So much so I bought a second and ran dual strips on the grill
Marcus Cooks –
Working just fine
Jamie B –
I would rate this higher but these did not last very long. Because very careful when bending, it will break the lights. Unfortunately had two of these and they both broke within weeks.

Looks great in our car

Not recommended by two different car experts!
Tried to get it installed and two different experts did not recommend installing it since it could cause a short, even with a fuse in between.
