I bought this for my 1930 Model A hotrod, I wanted to make sure that my Holley carburetor was tuned properly and not running too lean or rich, which is not good for the engine. The install was easy, and I mounted it on the steering column so I could read it without distraction. Everything in the product description was correct, and so far, it’s been functioning perfectly. The price point was within my budget, and it works just as well as higher priced units. I would recommend this AFR gauge to anyone who wants to tune their engine the easy way.

I bought this gauge kit and the first one would not read right. I sent it back and received a second one that did not read right again. I could not send it back because I waited too long. I purchased an AED gauge kit and it works perfect…never had another problem with the AED unit. I would not recommend this unit…stick with a name brand unit auto-meter or AED!

I used a slightly longer bung than provided and welded up a temporary exhaust extension for my experimental airplane to tune the carburetor. It has been a game changer, as I was running WAY too lean. With reliable data, I was able to rapidly get my engine dialed in. I’m using leaded fuel in this application, but in this temporary installation I think the heated sensor will last long enough. There are specialized tuning meters available, but I wasn’t sure this whole deal was going to work, so I went the inexpensive route to minimize financial risk, but it’s worked out great. The documentation is Just Enough for an experienced mechanic to figure out how to install it.

Afr gauge works just as expected. It does exactally. Works as good as my AEM gauges.Would recommend, and would buy again

Fantastic unit for the price. No complaints. The included o2 sensor has been awesome. Even in fuel soaked rich carburator conditions, it has not fouled out, while an older 4.2lsu sensor mounted next to it has fouled out twice. 4.9lsu sensor is best.

It’s a garbage product. I installed the sensor and wired up the gauge and it doesn’t work at all, the gauge jumps around for about 10 seconds then bottoms out at it’s lowest reading of 8.01. The buttons on the gauge face are cheap and most of the time don’t actually do anything when you press them, tried wiring it into my HP Tuner with a Pro-Link cable and there is no voltage signal. Thought maybe I got a dud and returned it and got a replacement, hooked it all up and this one doesn’t work either. I’ll get my money back from Amazon but the waste of time and effort is frustrating. Don’t be me, buy from a reputable company who makes a functional product.

Great AEM alternative
Using it on my 5.3 LS swapped Mazda b2200 so I could tune it with HP tuners. So far it’s been working great, I suspect it’s just an unbranded version of the aem wideband, the instructions piece of paper shows a gauge with the aem logo on it. For the $100 price difference I’m happy.

Faulty, mis-described and long wait for refund.
LED display faulty with blank pixels and faceplate is not reversable to show Lambda as described and as detailed in the manual that comes with. Started return process more than two weeks ago and still no sign of a refund.
