Easy install. Notice the engine can breathe a lot better now. Opens the exhaust notes up some. I like it. I feel a difference in the acceleration. Sometimes it trips the air filter monitoring system (air filter life), but you can just clear it and reset it, or just turn the monitoring off. Good value for the price. Good cheaper mod for getting a little more thrills from your car.

Only 4 stars because not only was package delayed by several days, but the box was beat to hell and looked like someone thought packing tape would protect the outside. Thankfully and surprisingly nothing was damaged. I get trying to save on shipping, but just using the manufacturer box and maybe stuffing some paper inside and wrapping the outside in a roll of tap isn’t a solid plan. I wish I’d taken a picture of the box, it was so bad in areas the tape was fully detached, again a miracle.As for the actual product, installing took maybe 30 minutes. It looks great, sounds much better and the throttle response was much better than I was expecting! So pleased! The engine bay of my Camaro looks a bit more pleasing!

Bought this for my son for his 2017 Camaro V6. He’s 16 years old, and had been eyeing this one, as it’s got a pretty good reputation. I let’s say he has reasonably decent automotive knowledge, but certainly not an expert. He and his buddy wanted to install this by themselves without my help. It’s his car, so I let him. He did get a little help from some YouTube videos, but installed it just fine without any real difficulty. That said, it looks great and sounds good as well. I can confidently say he’s very happy with the intake

This item was not new. It came with a bent tube that I was able to straighten into an acceptable oval to get it installed, it was supposed to be round. One of the rubber gaskets had a hole completely through it, fortunately it was where the clamp went so I was still able to use it. The heat shield was scuffed all over. As I was able to make it work and wanted to get it installed I chose not to send it back and wait three weeks for a replacement. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. It is an expensive add on and KN and or Amazon should not be sending out used and damaged products when you pay for new.

Seems the throttle lag I used to see has now diminished so definitely better response. More power noticed and somewhat of a better sound from my V6. Can definitely tell that the engine is getting better fuel to air mixture easy to install if you are mechanically inclined you will have no problem, took me about 1 1/2 hours to install, instructions were relatively easy to understand from my point of view I would recommend
