It’s a cold air intake that won’t suck up water. The outer box keeps engine heat and water to a minimum. Easy installation, it doesn’t come with directions but if you have issues there’s dudes with cake youtube videos to help you with the install.Once I stalled I noticed my throttle was more responsive and you can hear the turbo from inside and outside the car. I love the looks I get when I crack the turbo sounds driving down the road! I also gained about an extra 2 miles to the gallon just from this intake! It also fits better than the stock intake by a lot!

I purchased this for my 2018 Honda Civic, 1.5 manual hatchback. This intake is the real deal. Easy to install, noticeable power gains, looks clean under your hood, made my exhaust tone slightly deeper and louder,reasonable pricing and sounds mean under throttle. At first I wasn’t hearing the “ pshhhhh” loud enough. That’s until I took off the cover. And man. Let me tell you. The pshhh got even louder. Definitley can Hear the turbo spool up, and it gets alot of looks. I would recommend making sure the intake hinges and bolts are aligned and tight! And the best thing… no CE light!!

I ordered this product twice because I returned the first one.Pros:-Looks good.-Sounds good.-Noticeable performance increase even if only slightly.Cons:-Both times I ordered the product it was damaged.-Both times I ordered the product there were spots where the paint was flaking and metal rusting.-The first order it looked like they tried to cover up one of the damaged spots and failed. (Which makes me think they know items are damaged but send them out anyways).-The second product didn’t fit correctly, especially the air filter.-Quality Control seems none existent.-Overpriced.Overall, I think it is worth it if you plan on keeping your Civic and like modifying the car. You just gotta be careful and double check that the parts fit not just with your vehicle but with itself as that was a big problem for me.And also check to make sure that the parts aren’t damaged and or paint flaking as that seemed to be an issue as well.

This is a great product. The sound is deep and not too loud. The install are easy to follow.Warning. The screws for the main cover are very short for me. I lost the screw and washer in my engine bay, but I went to Lowes and bought me some spares. The dimension is a metric M6-1.00. Mishimoto say M4 – 1.0, but when I measure at Lowes. It was way too small. Good thing I match the original screw to the chart and got the right part. I bought spared that is a little longer. M6-1.0×16 is the size of the screw. Also for the washer I for a 6 mm inner diameter washer with a 11 mm outer diameter. I painted the part and look like I never lost it.

You can find a video on web of how too install. I found it on utube. If I can do it anyone can… so the only thing i would say i disliked… would be the screw sizes. All my screw but one were the same size. They still worked but was snugged. Pros… the 1.5 turbo really comes alive. I would says its double the sound with stock filter or more. The engine sounds like its running a little louder but still smooth. I also believe the exaust is running deeper. I have a hr drive into work so i cant wait to break it in.
