Awesome kit, looks great, helped with HP a little and sounds really good to hear lil red breath deep. My son and i installed the kit, and for the most part went smoothly. I did get the wrong size filter for one side. That was a pain.

High quality product. Instructions were pretty detailed throughout the entire install. No unique or special tools needed for anything. Detailed instructions a big plus on how to remove the Stock Intakes piece by piece and into installing the Typhoon kit. One thing that varied from the instructions was that the passenger side vent hose didn’t need the 7″ vent hose and I had to measure and cut that down to fit. Everything else was as specified in the directions. Took approximately 2.5 hours as I though I had misread or misplaced a part when the instructions indicated to install the 7″ vent hose. Checked on a pretty popular Z forum the370z.com and this issue was verified by others. I didn’t take it to have a Dyno done before or after but the car really feels that its gained some power and torque. Stock exhaust for now but considering AAM Short tails or an Fast Intentions – 12 res one. Definitely love the deep growl it gives and really hear the sound increase around 4k+ rpms. Amazon has the best price right now that I could find with my PRIME shipping! Great performance mod to start off and really easy to install. Since I can’t 4.5 Stars because of the slight confusion in the instructions it gets 5 Stars! Awesome Intake Kit for Price, Value and Ease of Install!

Wish I could give this product zero stars. All the products on the market this is by far the worst one. Welds on the pipes were jagged. Inside of the pipes was not clean at all. The welds melted through. Nothing on the inside of the pipes was smooth. For a product that claims to get more air to your intake faster. There was a surprising amount of jagged edges and slag from the welds in there not being smooth for air to pass over. On top of all that the threads in the pipes were not clean so when the plastic adapters threaded in they immediately got cross threaded and snapped off. They also used a thread measure that was uncommon. Couldn’t even find a tap, to dig the plastic out and reset the threads, anywhere at shops around town. I put in an exorbet amount of time energy and money into making this setup work so I didn’t have to return it, but in the end I had to. I’ll never buy K&N again. Horrible product. Do your research. Intakes are simple and if you look into it there are a bunch of better quality products for a lot less money that perform exactly the same if not better.

Very easy to install, take your time, be careful especially with the air sensors, as they are directional. But I didn’t use the 2 plastic 90° elbows, I bought 2. 1/4″ pipe plugs. And I also bought all the necessary pieces for a PCV delete, as I highly recommend you guys do the same, as now your new intakes kit will pull in allot more air, thus creating allot more vacuum, resulting in engine oil being pulled in through your pcv valves ( you have 2 – 1 on each valve cover ). You will need 2 size 8 AN fittings to thread in place of the removed PCV valves you should take out. And you will need 2 size 8 AN 90° elbows and 2 tiny air filters that will vent out atmospherically, 2 vacuum 1/4″ hose caps for the 2 ports on your intake planum as well as 2. 1/2″ vacuum hose caps- 1 each for either side of your valve covers for the port tube formed on top of the backside of each valve cover to plug all vacuum ports.Like I said very easy to do, there is instructions that are very discriptive and detailed. Another contributing factor as to why I bought this kit is for 2 reasons. 1.) K&N promised at least a 15hp gain. 2.) K&N promised also they will step up to the plate and go to bat for you if Nissan tries to negate your manufacturers warranty as long as their product is on your car, and there is a D.T.S codes relative to intake and air fuel mixture’s codes. Now as far as cool factor, This kit looks badass and makes the engine sound more aggressively. Good luck. Enjoy your car. Be safe. ** First photo is after I put in the PCV delete, and second photo was immediately after initial K&N install.**

First off let me start off by saying, I do enjoy the intake kit, and feel it was worth what I paid for it. My biggest gripe is the installation instructions. The hoses are too long, for the crankcase return, and every hose was cut at least I half. Now, this was for the 2015, 370z, maybe an 0 9 Infiniti is different, I don’t know, but you’ll see when you get in there. The second issue was, it has you take off everything at the same time, when it’ll be easier to do one side at a time, also take the cross brace off if you’re going at it alone. It’ll make your life easier. You also have to eliminate some things completely that the instructions leave out.All that said, I did notice better throttle response, and the around 30-50 miles more to my tank.. It also does give you some really nice sound (especially in the higher rpms) , compared to the stock kit. Not to mention, it looks bad @$$…I Def recommend.

Give power, good sound and can be installed in home.
Installed this on 370z 2016The installation was (Mid-hard) it took around two hours, made the engine sounds higher especially at 4000RPM, i fillet a little jump in power. It may raise the temperature of the engine or in my case at least ,i notice a little bit more heat from my car.Good product, high quality, every thing You may need to install it is in the package.

That noise!!! OMG!
What can I say about these intakes, it’s absolutely out of this world! The droning noise that comes with the standard 370Z is gone, and replaced by a noise that can only be described as magical! It makes it sound like a new car all together! Now for the important bit! When I read it gives you gains of 14HP I was probably going to accept that I’d not notice any difference … I was wrong! There is a very noticable throttle response and by god … now MY ‘Z’ feels so much quicker! When you get to about 3K+ RPM, you hear the thirsty intakes sucking in air, like a mini turbo … You need to buy them to find out. It changes the feel of the car, the sound of the car … omg! Worth every single penny!!!
