What about the difference between shocks and complete struts?

The structure of the shock absorber is different from that of complete spring struts assembly : Shocks is only a part of the assembly; the complete spring struts assembly consists of a shock absorber,spring,washer,spring top rubber and nut.
What will happen if these worn shock absorbers are not replaced?

Shock absorber is an integral part of vehicle suspension system. They prevent premature wearing of suspension parts and tires. If the shock absorber is damaged, the braking and steering stability of the vehicle will be endangered.

They look great. Problem is one of the front shocks was covered in oil along with yellow packing it was in with most oil on inside of packing so assume it came from inside the shock.. So useless,, sure am not going to waste my time mounting it. I needed the shock change when i needed the shock change as the truck was being picked up by new buyer. So i quess you get what you pay for. Cheap means CHEAP. Not worth the nonsesnse to try to get a replacement! Would never buy again. Sometimes a persons time is more valuable than the cost of the cheap part.
